Cambios...

Well this week has honestly been full of miracles!  I have recieved some spiritual promptings super strong, concerning one family.  First of because of the lack of missionaries coming into our mision Presidente Obeso has to close 5 sectors!  Wow!  One of them being in our district!  Our zone leaders are both going to leave because one has health problems and the other is finishing his mission!  They have both been great examples to me!  Elder Hardy is going to be one of my new zone leaders, and one of the Elders from this sector that is closing is going to be my new companion.  He is really cool!  His name is Elder Penuñuri  There have been a lot of cambios and changes in the mision!  It is pretty cool!

First off we had a lesson Roger and Jennifer and they started to tell us about how they had been talking about the church and all, and at this moment we thought they were going to drop us.  But they actually totally have been reading and feeling the spirit and have been seeing evidence of the truthfullness of the Church!  How they recieved they have been recieving their anwsers are a little strange, but during this lesson I felt the Spirit a lot and recieved some really cool spiritual promptings.  

Then we found another family who a year ago talked with the missionaries and totally recieved her anwser and understood everything perfectly!  It was awesome!  Other than that this week has been great!

Hola! 

This week has been pretty good!  I have definitly learned a lot about Faith, and how to sets goals and planes!  Elder Hardy taught me a lot about the 3 steps of Faith in the mission.

1. Righteous desires, and focsed thoughts

2. Dilligience

3. Obedience

When we are focused on what we what to achive are dilligient in reaching our goal and obedient to the rules we exercise our Faith and call down the powers of Heaven, we cant take away the agency of others but we can teach with Spiritual Power and find those people that are prepared!  

This week was really fun!  I have a lot of pictures, but I will send them in another email!  First off I had a intercambio with Elder Allsop this week and it was a riot!  He gave me some great advice!  Then we had a lesson with Roger and Jennifer who now have a Fecha!  They are really progressing they try to give us once every time we go over there! 

Then we had a lesson with Fabian and Cathorine.  Fabian and Cathorine basically need to get married, but Fabian doesnt want to.  However I think they are progressing a ton!  With Fabian I have really seen a huge change!  They both came to the Church, and we had a lesson with them and the Branch President so it was awesome!  I am really excited for them!

Last night we traveled here to Coyahique in order to hike a mountain this morning. but for some odd reason it was closed, so we went to another place and it was really pretty as well!  Elder Hardy got his cara Moroni, or a letter that every missionary that has only 6 months left gets with his planes to go home!  So he is kind of freaking out!  But it was a great week!

Well this week has been pretty darn good! I talked to a pretty cool drunk guy yesterday and couldnt understand a thing!  Apart from that, first off we had an inter cambio with Puerto Cisnes!  It was really fun, but the sun there killed me!  I am not sun burt, but I made the mistake of wearing a long sleeve shirt!  In Puerto Aysen it is suprisingly super sunny!  But we had a Pichanga, which is basically a bunch of meat and fries, it is so good!    This week there has not been one drop of rain in Puerto Aysen, but it is all good!  I really miss the rain!  

So this week something really cool, happened!  We had a lesson with Roger and Jennifer, and they had read the Book Of Mormon, like 5 chapters!  Then right as we were about to put them with a Baptismal Date some of their family walked in.  Which was kinda sucky, and I actually think that Elder Hardy prayed that they would go away!  However we actually ended up talking to them, and we taught like five minutes of the Plan of Salvation, and now they want to take lessons with us!  It was super cool!  Then Roger and Jennifer testified of the Book Of Mormon and how it gives us peace!  Wow!  Really all people have to do is read and pray, and the Spirit will testify!

I have so much more to talk about, but I dont have time!

Feliz Año Nuevo

Well like always I dont have a ton of time!  But by request I will do my best to be more detailed.  So this week we had un conferencia de zona.  It was awesome!  presidente Obeso came and gave some great advice!  The mission is changing a little.  We have some goals as a mission, and Elder Hardy and I are really pumped to work towards these goals, because it will really help our sector!  Part of these goals has to do with opening our mouths, always!  So we have been really striving to better use the Spirit to do contacts.  

So this week we found a new family called Roger and Jennifer they are pretty young, but super awesome!  We taught the Resotration and it went really well!  I cant tell you how many times we teach the Restoration, but it honestly is a blast!  They have a little girl, and I think they will really progress!  

This last week was new years wich was fun!  For new years here the basically behead sheep and have a big grill!  Then get really drunk!  They do all of this in their front yard by the way!  It is kind of sad, because you will see people selling hundreds of sheep in the streets!  I also talked to a preacher, and he was pretty nice! It was a lot of fun!  

Sorry I dont have a lot of time so I promise I will send a better email next time!  But I love being a missionary!
