Elder Hernandez May 30th

Well this week has been pretty good!  First off I got a new companion.  His name is Elder Hernandez, he is pretty sick.  He is from El Salvador and has a cool background story.  We have our differances, but we are working together.  It has been pretty cool so far.  I have learned a lot in a short week, with a new companion.  

recently I have learned a lot about Charity and what it really is.  As well I have learned a lot about Humility and Anger.  I have learned a lot with my new companion.  He only speaks spanish, so my spanish as well is changing, for the better.  I am short on time, so I will have to cut this one short.

However I have learned something that I would like to share.  There is always a calm before the storm.  We have to prepare now, in order to stand when that storm comes.  In the moments of the most adversity, is when we truly show our thoughts, actions, desires, and atributes.  Then we can do some self evaluation.  That is something that I have truly learned this week.  That has helped me.  Thanks to all of you for what you have done!  Thanks for you wonderful examples!

Super Semana

Well this week was really great!  I have really seen Gods help!  As well I have seen adverstiy.  However that isnt that important, because God has helped me through every moment.  I have also seen a lot of miracles this week!  

We had the opportunity to get shots for the flu.  I also was called Gods Bird by a drunk guy.  He was very nice!  We had the opportunity to help the Elders Quorum in a service project of pouring cement!  It was a blast!  Also on Thursday we went to Mafil and found a ton of opportunities to do service and it was a big booster!   

Now with the miracles: A nephew of a member contacted us in the street and told us his a little bit about himself and that he wants to change.  He is awesome!  He also came to Church this Sunday!  Also we had a lesson with a part member family in Mafil, and it was great.  They are super nice!  Then we had a lesson with a lady, who at first was kind of attacking us, but this lesson the Lord really guided us with the scriptures, and it was awesome.  The Spirit was there and she opened up a lot!  Then as a companionship we fasted for a recent member, that was going through a hard time.  That next day... our prayers were anwsered.  It was awesome! 

So obviously God really is mindful of our lives and is always there to helps us help others.  However I have learned that Charity and Faith play a huge role in the anwsers to our prayers!
