Baptism

Well this week was great!  I only have 3 weeks here in San Jose and I had the opportunity to baptize someone this last saturday!  It was a wonderful oportunity as missionary to help someone enter into the waters of Baptism!  Elder Salgado and him really like to joke around with me.  His name is Marcos!  He is from Brazil and is a really cool guy!  It is weird, he knows english so we are allways teaching him in english, it kind of shocked me the first time I got to know him.

Other than that we had a lesson with another investigator called Niko.  He has a baptism date, and is proressing a lot!  He is 18 and is the son of the Branch President.  He is a really cool guy!  I will send a picture of the Baptism!
Love You all!

Goodbye Pureto Aysen,

Well I got a cambio to a little town next to Valdivia called San Jose de la Mariquina.  It is cool here, and there is a branch of 20 or more people.  They are all really cool and nice.  It will be a blast to work with them.  My new comp is named Elder Salgado.  He is a pretty tall guy!  He is always making me laugh.  I think he is like 6 foot 3.  He is really cool, and I am going to be his last companion, it is sad he is a great missionary!

I am excited to be here, it took a whole day to get here so not a ton has happened, but we have had a lesson with a dude from Brazil and he speaks english, so that was a little hard to talk in that lesson!  He has a fecha from the 26th of this month!  We also have another investigator called Julio, he is really poor, but so ready to be baptized.  I have learned a lot so far, and it has been a blast!  Well that is basically it!

Well I got a plane ticket!

Well this week has been pretty good!  This morning I recieved a plane ticket, and I am getting changed, but it is all good!  I know I am going, but I dont exactly know where, I only know that I am going up North.  I am grateful for the time I have had in this sector, and I am super excited for the all the things I will learn in the following sector!

This week was really good, most of this week we were moving houses.  So we didnt have to much time to proselyte, but we did have some really good things happen.  We now have a new investigator Hiram.  He is an older guy, but he is really smart!  The sisters contacted him in the street, and it was perfect timing because he had been searching in all the other churchs for the truth, so he decided to come to church!  He came, and then kept coming and has come 4 times!!  When he told us this it was a big testimony to me that the people that search, will find!  We also put him with a Baptismal date in April!  He is really progressing!
I have to go now but thanks to all of you for your support!

Great Week!

Well this week was good!  We found some new investigators!
Well first off we re taught a Carabinero (policeman) that I have taught before, when I was in my training!  It was fun, and he is super nice!  Then we found another new family, and they both work in the hospital, they are both super nice as well, it was a great week!
I dont have much time once again so basically Fabian returned from working on the sea, and him and Kathorine are progressing so much, and are so close to getting married!  They will get there!  Then this Sunday Hiram came to Church again!  That is 3 times!  Still we havent been able to teach hime because of his work, but we have two citas planned for this week, so all is well!  I really learned about the Love of Christ this week.  During the Sacrament I really felt good when I saw Fabian and Kathorine come in!  It was awesome!  Well I have to go!  This photo was when Elder Peñuñuri got photo happy!

Happy Valentines Day

Well like always, I don't have much time!  Right now I am super excited because I am going to play ultimate Frisbee!  It has been like 5 months since I have played sports!  I am so pumped!  Anyways T
this week was pretty good!

We had a lesson with a new investigator this week.  Her name is Camilla and she was a reference from the Hermanas.  When we had or cita with her she decided to bring to of her best friends, a perfect atmosphere to teach.  It was actually really hard to teach they really like to laugh.  So at times I had to keep a straight face and be dead serious, and hey at least we taught Faith and Repentance!

We leaned about praying in specific yesterday ha!  We had prayed to enter into a house and teach, so the first house we entered we meet a man that knew a lot of philosophies, and it was very interesting, and I learned a lot.  They second house we entered a woman basically called us to repentance, that was fun!  Then we finally prayed specifically and entered into an investigators house, and taught the Plan of Salvation!  So I really learned that praying specifically really helps!

Other than that It has been pretty good!  We did a lot of contacts, and also made cookies, it was fun!  They tasted really good!  This is a picture of last Monday when we went to Puerto Cisnes.

So first off I have learned a word since I arrived here, that is Mish!  It means neat, I dont know why but I really like that word!  It just flows!  I have honestly really enjoyed my mission so far it has been great!

Elder Peñuñuri has been a little sick this semana so we didnt get to leave the house a day or two, but thats ok!  We have been getting along and yesterday we left the house, which was awesome!

Yesterday we taught a lesson to a investigator named Jorge, he is pretty cool!  We taught the 3rd lesson and the Spirit was definilty present!  I really think he can progress, and I know that he will!  He is so fun he told us about his childhood and everything and it was great!

Also with Fabian and Cathorine they are progressing also!  Fabian found a job, so that is awesome!  They are reading the scriptures more and were going to come to church yesterday, but couldnt because they got sick!

Also this week we were able to share a scripture with a member familly that came for vacation.  That was fun as well, they are awesome!
Oh and a member gave us something called a pichanga wich is so good!!  He is less active but has a lot of desires to return!  It is awesome!  I know he can do it!
