October 3rd

I really enjoyed Conferance!  I thought it was great and had some cool spiritual expressions.  I went into the conferance with the question of how is a man of the Priesthood and how can he become that.  I recieved one general anwser and a lot of little anwsers.  The general anwser is that a man of the Priesthood is Christlike.  Then I learned a lot of little traits like grateful, obedient, kind, charitable, smart, dilligent, uses the Atonement, judges righteously, etc.  Then on how I can do that I have been reading Lectures on Faith.  I realized that on the pathway to dicipleship it is necesary to live the Gospel.  The first step being Faith.  Lectures on Faith show what is necesary for a intellegent being to have faith unto salvation.  Then I liked how Elder Bednars talk treated the steps unto being converted or following Christ.  It was great.  Then I loved the talk by Sister Reeves and repentance, and thought it was awesome!

I am glad to hear that my teachers said hi!  Also tell Sean that I love him!  I hope he is doing well.  He is a stud of a missionary.  About your challenge.  I already do that.  Every night I go over the blessings of that day, and write them in my agenda.  I have recieved the packet of President Monsons book.  It is so cool!  Thank you a ton!  Shoes wise I am a 10.  I already bought a new jacket, and we are going into summer.  Other than that I am fine.

Investigator wise Andres is good, a good friend and everything.  However we have to see were he is at with the Gospel.  He reads and prays he just hasnt come to church.  We have invited and invited, however he has not come.  That is probably are biggest obstacle.  We think it could be something about his family.  Matilde dropped us.  Patricia lives pretty far into our sector, and we havent had a lot of contact with her.  Thank you for your prayers and Love!  Oh and news.  Right now is Transfers.  So we just figured out that Elder Sheppard is going to Fresia and I am going to train!  I am really excited.  However it is a little sad that he will be going, we have learned a lot together!  He is a great guy!

Love you mom!
It has been pretty cool to do so, because of that I also remember what happens in the day.  I would like to tell you of a experiance that we had this week.  We were in our district counsel and we were reading a talk about Faith.  by Elder Bednar.  It is called Ask in Faith.  As we were reading a lady walked in the church and asked was crying asking for God.  We were able to counsel her and help her in that moment.  We sang a hymn for her and gave her a blessing.  It was a great experience of how God puts his children in our paths!
