Hey Mom! This week has been good. It has honestly been a little bit of a struggle. However it has been good! We have had some fun, and I feel like I am getting more happier and outgoing. Not saying that I wasnt, however I am getting better. Nate Hughes is a stud I love the guy! Elder Sheppard is a good guy! I have learned a lot from him so far. Love the guy a lot! Yes we are different, but that doesnt stop us from working and we are good friends! No big arguments yet, and we have been together for like two months or something! That is so crazy that my friends are getting married! So weird! I guess not for you guys, but here in the mission world thats weird. They are great friends! It is so true what you said about opposicion and trial. We need to take something from it and apply it. It is the process of conversion and progression. I would never of had progressed to were I am now, without trials. Thank you for sending a new camera. One thing. In the emails you send, if there is anything bad about the ward or people I send. Please dont make the mistake to send it to the world. Those comments are only are to you guys! This week has been a little rough, but a lot of fun! We have been working pretty hard and have felt good about what we have done. We had a lot of fallen lessons. Here it is the national holliday so that kind of slowed things down. We had a grill as a zone in our house. Our house is the biggest in the mission and is spacious so therej were 10 other Elders that came and played games and eat. We bought like 50 dollars of meat. It was crazy. We have had activities throughout the whole week, as a ward and Stake. It has been pretty fun. Lots of fun this week! Mom I love you a lot! One request I know I really dont want to think about it a lot, however could you perhaps make a list of pros and cons of UVU and BYU I and send them to me? Love You!
Hey Dad! The problem a lot of the unity problems involve the Bishop... So that makes it hard. But we have come to the conclusion that it is necesary. We are trying to stay close to the Bishop and be his friends and really be great friends with the members. They are great people. Everyone has their beef which each other. Honestly it kind of stops the work. However we just got to do are best to help out the ward and do our best to complete our objective. I have thought that the Church is a machine. If one part isnt functioning then the other part cant take over his spot. Unless it has the authority to do so. We dont have that authority, so all we can do is our best and pray that the Lord helps out! I know he will just in his time, and according to the agency of the members. I feel as if I am gaining more confidence now. My comp has helped me out with that. There are always little things I would like to change and get better, however I feel that this confidence thing will help out! Love you Dad! That is so cool that you guys are reaching out as a stake to clean the neighboorhood and help everyone! That is so cool! I responded to your other email about the backbitting. I am so glad to hear that you guys could talk with Elder Hughes! He is so cool, and Tall!! I hope that Aja and Addie make a great dinner for those guys! They are awesome! At BYU right now there is Elder Hughes, Peterson, Hardy, and Lawton I believe. Those guys are all studs! I love them all! Elder Sheppard is pretty cool! We are different people, but in all he is a great guy! He has taught me a lot about confidence and I have learned some things I would like to apply in my life and mission. I really do enjoy serving the Lord, but it has passed by too quickly! I would like to change some things in order to take advantage of all I can. I love you Dad! Thanks for everyhting!
